Of all the tuna species, yellowfin is considered the most sustainable!
Do NOT support the sale of Bluefin Tuna! It is an endangered species and only prized because of its rarity!
Yellowfin Tuna's rich color, and firm texture make it a beautifully delicious fillet!
What is sashimi-grade?
It simply means that it is safe to consume this fillet raw. Like sashimi or poke!
This high quality fillet is completely safe to enjoy without cooking.
Can I get it fresh, not frozen?
Yes! If you are willing to wait.
Most Nordic Selections products are available to us fresh, but we do not source them on a weekly basis like our Nordic Catch seafood.
So we must freeze most of it between order cycles.
