Why Mahi Mahi?

Mahi mahi, also known as dolphinfish, is one of the most versatile wild white fish.

It stands out for its:

  • firm, meaty texture
  • mild, slightly sweet flavor
  • lean, clean profile
  • excellent cooking performance

Unlike softer white fish, mahi mahi holds its shape well, making it especially good for grilling, searing, and high-heat cooking.

Wild & Line-Caught

This mahi mahi is wild, line-caught off the coast of Sri Lanka, then processed into convenient skinless portions.

Line-caught fish are handled with care and selected for quality, giving you a clean, consistent portion that’s easy to prepare at home.

Flavor & Texture

Mahi mahi is approachable but still satisfying.

Expect:

  • mild, clean flavor
  • subtle natural sweetness
  • firm, flaky texture
  • lean, protein-rich bite

It’s a great choice for customers who want a white fish with more structure than cod, haddock, or sole.

Skinless 6.5oz Portions

Each portion is:

  • approximately 6.5oz
  • skinless
  • individually packaged
  • easy to thaw and cook
  • freezer-friendly for convenient meals

These portions are built for quick, reliable cooking without prep work.

How to Prepare

Mahi mahi works best with simple, high-heat methods.

Grilled

Brush lightly with oil, season with salt, and grill over medium-high heat until just cooked through.

Pan-Seared

Sear in a hot pan for a golden crust, then finish gently until flaky.

Fish Tacos

Season with citrus, chili, garlic, or herbs, then flake into tortillas with slaw and sauce.

Bowls & Salads

Serve over rice, greens, or grains with lemon, salsa verde, or yuzu kosho.

Avoid overcooking—mahi mahi is lean and best when still moist in the center.

Ideal For

  • grilled fish dinners
  • fish tacos
  • rice bowls
  • meal prep
  • lean, high-protein meals
  • quick weeknight seafood
