Excellent fish. We just got back from Iceland and had wolffish there and wanted some when we got back and Nordic Catch delivered on our cravings! Super fresh and great taste.
Rate very tasty
I gave some halibut to my friend and she sautéed it with a little butter and it was the star of the show. Her description was “scrumptious.” I then used another piece of halibut and a piece of the cod also from Nordic Catch to make a fish chowder, which was stunningly good. You simply can’t go wrong with this fish.
Wow! So buttery yet firm! A real delicacy and the highlight of our meal. Not fishy at all. No other Halibut even compares!
The Wolffish was delicious! Tried a recipe off of Savorthebest.com website for Wolffish, turned out moist and flaky. Will be ordering more in the future.

Packaging is amazing but the fish is different from the Atlantic fish we get hence Icelandic. We wanted to try it. Still great fish but just meatier than flakey.

I give this to my friends who enjoy it very much. I’m doing a big dinner in a few weeks and planning to use the halibut and I’m sure it will be a big hit there as well.

I haven't made the Halibut yet, but it seems like they are much smaller portions than I received in the past. Perhaps that is to keep the costs down due to inflation, or am I crazy?

I made a fish chowder using the cod loin as well as the halibut and it turned up quite well. Don’t overcook the fish. It was just succulent.

The cod tasted good! However, we expected it to have no funky smell but it did. We are unsure if we would order again with the price. It was packaged well and arrived on time.

I have been ordering from Nordic Catch for a few months now. I have sampled only fish to include ahi tuna steaks, bluefin tuna blocks, grouper, haddock and Atlantic salmon. The quality and flavor of the fish I have received has been excellent. I've had it raw in Poke Bowls and sashimi, and have seared and baked it. Always very satisfied with the results. Orders come quickly and are well packed. I can't comment on service beyond the shipping as I've not experienced any issues with the orders I have placed. Highly recommend!!
I will in the future order Haddock from another company.. Totally not what I was expecting for the price I paid..I am originally from upstate NY, miss Haddock I have been residing in Texas for 15 years,,we don't have Haddock down here.. thought would be a great treat for my family members that are here as well to have " beer battered" haddock.. very disappointed 😞
Nordic catch is excellent with communicating delivery time. The fish has been well packed to stay frozen if we are not home at the time of delivery. The fish is delicious! I’m quite satisfied with the portions and taste of the fish. Thank you!
First order took 4 days with overnight. All arrived thawed and very warm threw away. Insurance recipient arrived in 3 days; was promised extra dry ice but didn’t happen. Half the order was thawing already threw some away as well. Not a good experience have been using competitor for years and decided to try Nordic due to Sea Bass.
I gave this one to another friend and she fried it in some butter and said it was the most delicious thing she had ever eaten.
